The NKF Dialysis Centre Supported by Tay Choon Hye stands as a testament to one man’s vision of providing life-saving treatment and rehabilitative care to patients with kidney failure. Mr Tay Choon Hye, the late Founder of SUTL Group, was himself a dialysis patient. His generosity led to a $5 million donation to establish this centre in 2001, offering generations of patients the strength to triumph over adversity.
His legacy of philanthropy continues through his son, Mr Arthur Tay, Chairman of SUTL Group, and his extended family, who remain dedicated to supporting kidney patients in rebuilding their lives.
In 2025, Mr. Arthur Tay, his family, and SUTL Group deepened their commitment with a $4 million donation to upgrade the facility, offering improved patient care and expanded capacity.
Blue Water Edufest
Blue Water EduFest, a non-profit event dedicated to ocean and coastal conservation, was launched in 2022. Its goal is to raise awareness about marine conservation issues to combat climate change and celebrate the efforts of eco-champions throughout the region.
The event includes three event pillars: Blue Water Heroes, Blue Water conference, and ONE15 Clean Up. Blue Water Heroes is an awards dinner that recognises young and passionate individuals who have demonstrated unwavering dedication to marine preservation from the region. The conference aims to connect governmental officials, educators, researchers, enterprises, communities and NGOs, and to accelerate joint efforts on marine education and conservation. While ONE15 Clean Up is a community clean-up effort to improve the coastal environment through volunteers, sponsors and partners.
